Registration under REACH
Chemicals which are manufactured in or imported into Europe in quantities greater than 1 tonne a year are required to be registered under REACH.
REACH registration is quite technical and extensive process involving collection and assessment of information on the physical and chemical properties and toxicological hazards of the chemicals. After collection and assessment, information needs to be aggregated into the IUCLID software.
